Per 2025 press, the resort team protects 335,024 square metres of seagrass meadow, about 1,600 turtle hatchlings reached the sea from its shores in 2024, and its coral programme had released 9.2 million coral larvae onto the house reef by December 2025. Figures are the resort's own, reported through trade press. 13,221 kg of local reef fish bought from responsible local fishers in 2024, plus microgreens, herbs and mushrooms grown in-house and sauces and sodas made from scratch. The resort bottles its own water on site, and the atoll-wide Plastic Free Laamu initiative asks suppliers to remove plastic packaging (Hotelier Maldives, September 2025). No waste figures or other resort systems are described. Villas described as built from sustainably sourced materials, with no detail.
