The mangrove lagoon holding the largest magnificent frigatebird colony in the Caribbean, at roughly 2,500 pairs, with brown boobies and nesting laughing gulls.
The only Ramsar site in the country, described by BirdsCaribbean as marvellously pristine and of global importance. Observation only from a boat, with no landing at the colony, no handling and no feeding. Only Barbudan owned boats are permitted, which keeps the benefit local and the access controlled. Ask your boatman to keep well off the nesting mangroves.
