About Happy Valley Fresh

In 2008 we began selling mandarins to several local markets and school districts. That effort led to Mandarin sales beyond what our small orchard could provide. We contacted some friends with mandarins and began selling their mandarins too. A local school’s food service director contacted us and asked if we could provide more varieties of local products. We contacted more growers, went to several local grower meetings, and now provide an abundance of products grown in the Northstate to stores and schools. We strive and have built great relationships with the growers, schools, and stores during this expansion of Happy Valley Fresh. Currently, in 2024, we are delivering to 87 schools in the Sacramento Valley and working with 24 farms. We will continue to focus on providing good service, good relationships, and great-tasting products throughout the upcoming years.
