About Dedicated Brand

Every Dedicated garment is made only with organic, nature-based or recycled fibres, spanning GOTS-certified organic cotton, Regenerative Organic Certified cotton, Fairtrade cotton, LENZING ECOVERO Viscose, TENCEL Lyocell and Masters of FLAX linen. GOTS labelling requires a garment to contain at least 70% organic cotton, and recycled fibres at Dedicated are covered by the Global Recycled Standard.
Dedicated ships all orders from Sweden and works only with suppliers certified by reliable standards, with its supply base audited against SA8000, amfori BSCI, SMETA and SLCP. The brand designs just two collections per year to respect reasonable production time and packs pieces in packaging made from recycled or certified materials.
Dedicated has been making its fibre-conscious clothing since 2006, and since 2023 it buys Regenerative Organic Certified cotton alongside Fairtrade cotton, which sets a minimum price for cotton above the market price.

What the label won’t tell you

The questions sensitive skin actually asks, answered

Are there hidden chemicals against my skin?

Dedicated Brand is PFAS-free (verified). 16 of 16 styles scanned: zero PFAS, zero formaldehyde, dye process on record: Low-impact / GOTS-certified dyes

Is "sustainable" just greenwashing?

“Eco” and “green” have no legal meaning, and thousands of unverified claims flood the market. We scanned 16 styles from the store’s own product feed and publish a score only at full coverage. We read certificates, not adjectives.
And nothing is hidden: 16 products wouldn’t scan cleanly. Every one is named in the sourcing ledger below.

Is "100% cotton"
actually
100% cotton?

Most “cotton” underwear hides elastane or spandex in the trims. We read the stated fibres on 16 of 16 styles, thread by thread: 31% plant, 68% synthetic.

Will the elastic bring me out in a rash?

Latex and rubber waistbands are a top trigger for contact eczema. Elastic check across the catalogue: No elastane.

Where's it really made,
and by whom?
Named farm and factory
GOTS chain of custodyTraceable back to the cotton

Traceability on record: Fibre-to-garment; factory: India and China. We publish the full sourcing chain and the honest red flags, including where sources conflict.

Am I shedding microplastics onto my body?

Synthetic underwear sheds plastic fibres onto your skin and into the water with every single wash. Dedicated Brand is 68% synthetic, so yes. These styles shed. Wash cool, use a guppy bag, and favour the plant-fibre options in the range.

Sources: consumer research on formaldehyde in easy-care fabrics (~9% of people react), PFAS in water- and stain-resistant finishes, and hypoallergenic underwear for eczema and contact dermatitis.

Dedicated (Sweden) is the most transparent brand in this batch: all cotton is 100% organic and GOTS-certified with most styles Fairtrade-certified (Fairtrade cotton sourced from India), and it works with a small set of certified direct suppliers in India and China holding SA8000, WRAP and GRS certifications. Dedicated shares its supplier list publicly (reported on Open Supply Hub) and provides a per-product traceability widget that maps each production step and names the supplier and its location, from material sourcing to retail. This delivers effective fibre-to-garment, full-public-list transparency.

Sourcing flags & notes: Minimal; Fair Wear Foundation membership could not be independently confirmed from published sources (certifications found were GOTS/Fairtrade/GRS/SA8000/WRAP); individual cotton farms not named

How it was read: Every product listed in Dedicated Brand's live catalogue is retrieved and its stated fibre composition read individually, from the Dedicated Brand product page, Dedicated Brand's own product data and its material labels. A fibre percentage for Dedicated Brand is published only when 100% of the Dedicated Brand catalogue has been read. Items Dedicated Brand sells that carry no clothing textile, such as gift cards, packaging, jewellery and homeware, are excluded from the percentage rather than counted as a pass or a fail.

Why excluded: Nothing was excluded: every item counted is a textile product.
