WAMA makes hemp underwear from a fixed blend of 53% hemp, 44% organic cotton and 3% spandex, a composition the brand has independently fibre-tested by SGS. Hemp and organic cotton are natural plant fibres grown without pesticides or herbicides, so the fabric is largely natural, with only a small share of spandex for stretch. The finished fabric is not GOTS certified because hemp is not GOTS-eligible, though the cotton portion is organic.

Garments are cut and sewn in a WRAP-certified factory in Vietnam and a BSCI-audited factory in Huizhou, China.
