Guess

This report documents what Guess publishes about its ownership and supply chain. See the sourcing and transparency sections below. Guess’s supply-chain transparency is rated 3 out of 5.

Guess’s product range has not been scanned product-by-product to the Throne Standard, so no whole-catalogue fibre percentage is shown here. A headline fibre figure is only published once 100% of a catalogue has been read.

What this scan could read

Every product listed in Guess' live catalogue is retrieved and its stated fibre composition read individually, from the Guess product page, Guess' own product data and its material labels. A fibre percentage for Guess is published only when 100% of the Guess catalogue has been read. Items Guess sells that carry no clothing textile, such as gift cards, packaging, jewellery and homeware, are excluded from the percentage rather than counted as a pass or a fail.

Not recorded: Every product in this catalogue states its fibre composition.

Excluded: Nothing was excluded: every item counted is a textile product.

How we scan. Every figure comes from the Throne Standard scan: we read the fibre composition off each live product, style by style, and count only single-fibre plant cloth (cotton, linen, hemp) as natural. Animal and plastic-based synthetic fibres sit outside the plant-fibre figure, and regenerated fibres such as viscose, rayon, modal and Tencel are counted as semi-synthetic.
