Eco Amenities
The retreat's own herb gardens supply herbs for its teas, meals and spa treatments, stated on the official homepage. After Hurricane Maria left hardly a tree standing, the owner replanted the three acre site; the trees planted about five years ago are now fruiting, per the founder's Our Story page. This is garden and fruit tree replanting rather than a formal conservation programme. Graded as a claim only, since replanting fruit trees after a hurricane is gardening rather than a conservation system. The rebuild after Hurricane Maria included restoring the old casonas (traditional houses) alongside new treehouses and cabins, per the Our Story page.
