Alpkit publishes a full, named Tier 1 factory list of roughly 42 factories giving each factory’s location, products, ownership, audit status and length of relationship, and makes about 30% of its range in its own UK workshop (AKHQ, Nottingham). Alpkit’s factories are mainly in China (24), Taiwan (9) and the UK (3), plus Vietnam, Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Japan and the US, all screened against the ETI Base Code and audited annually.
