AYA (ecoaya) is a plastic-free brand founded in 2022 by Peruvian-American siblings Meli and Rensso Hinostroza that owns its production facility in Lima and makes everything single-origin in Peru, from fibre to finished garment. AYA uses organic Peruvian Pima cotton (regenerative, hand-harvested) and royal alpaca (~19 micron, hand-sheared annually by Andean communities), dyed with plant-based and cochineal dyes with wastewater reused for irrigation.
