About ELV Denim
Owner · Anna Foster is the owner of ELV Denim.
ELV Denim (East London Vintage) is a fully upcycled brand that sources second-hand denim from UK vintage warehouses, hand-curates it, and cuts and re-crafts every piece in its own East London ateliers, with washing at a local launderette using roughly 7 litres of water per pair versus about 10,000 for new jeans. Production, including leather work, is concentrated in one East London neighbourhood with stated fair pay and no zero-hour contracts. Because material is reclaimed, original fibre farm origin is inherently untraceable, and ELV does not publish a formal named supplier list or certifications.

Work out the real cost per wear
Use the price and realistic wear count to compare long-term value.
Cost per wear is the honest test behind "buy less, buy better": a £200 coat worn 300 times beats a £25 one worn 5 times. It rewards wearing what you own and choosing things built to last.
