About Finisterre

Owner · Tom Kay is the owner of Finisterre.

Finisterre provides full traceability through its Woolkeepers initiative and i-spy tool: Finisterre’s wool is traceable back to four specific farms in South West England, and the natural rubber in Finisterre’s Yulex wetsuits traces to Hevea plantations in Thailand and Vietnam, with the wetsuits made by its partner factory Plethora. Finisterre’s i-spy tool shows each product’s full cycle. Materials, where they are sourced and processed, and manufacturing location.

Why no scoreNOT ASSESSED from saved CSV: 487 of 678 in-scope rows classified (71.8% coverage); possible fully plant-SKU range 41.9-70.1% can change the score band. No score is published.
Sourcing red flagsFinisterre's transparency is excellent; the caveat is material type. Wool (animal) and Yulex/neoprene alternatives are not plant fibre, so transparency and the fibre score are separate.

Wear it longer

Work out the real cost per wear

Use the price and realistic wear count to compare long-term value.

£0.00 per wear

Cost per wear is the honest test behind "buy less, buy better": a £200 coat worn 300 times beats a £25 one worn 5 times. It rewards wearing what you own and choosing things built to last.
