About Freedom Ecowear
Owner · Dominican-owned
Freedom Ecowear sells bikinis and swimsuits made from regenerated and recycled fabrics at its own Sol Luna Atelier in La Vega, Dominican Republic. Its solid-colour swimwear uses 100% ECONYL regenerated nylon recovered from ghost fishing nets, while printed styles use fabric that is 81% recycled post-consumer PET and 19% Lycra, stamped digitally with no water. The brand's materials page shows GRS, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, bluesign and GOTS certifications, built over a three-year redesign of its local, ethical supply chain.

How Freedom Ecowear compares across published ratings
Work out the real cost per wear
Use the price and realistic wear count to compare long-term value.
Cost per wear is the honest test behind "buy less, buy better": a £200 coat worn 300 times beats a £25 one worn 5 times. It rewards wearing what you own and choosing things built to last.
