About Rudy Jude
Owner · Julie O'Rourke is the owner of Rudy Jude.
Rudy Jude is a small-batch US label that mills its organic cotton and natural-indigo selvedge denim in Japan and then sews and plant-dyes each garment in its own Los Angeles studio, giving good stage-by-stage visibility from mill to finished garment. However, Rudy Jude does not name the cotton’s country of origin (‘sustainable farms around the world’), does not name its Japanese mill, holds no published certifications and publishes no supplier list. Transparency rests on narrative rather than verifiable third-party data.

Work out the real cost per wear
Use the price and realistic wear count to compare long-term value.
Cost per wear is the honest test behind "buy less, buy better": a £200 coat worn 300 times beats a £25 one worn 5 times. It rewards wearing what you own and choosing things built to last.
