Owner · Rujuta Sheth is the owner of Rujuta Sheth.

Rujuta Sheth is an NYC-based, India-connected indie designer brand (founded 2015) whose cotton and linen pieces are mostly hand-loomed in India at what the brand calls Fair Trade certified factories, with some garments made by Philippine artisans from deadstock fabric. Rujuta Sheth works with just two small Indian factories the founder personally visits a couple of times a year and describes direct relationships with owners, tailors and pattern-makers. Transparency is relationship-based and credible at the garment/weaving tier, but Rujuta Sheth publishes no factory list, no factory names or cities, and no fibre-farm, mill or dye-house detail.
