THRONE SCAN 0.9.0 · INCLUDED MEMBER TOOL

Bring the evidence into your work.

One Throne Scan captures evidence across all departments. View each result’s category, SKU or recorded identity, composition or ingredients, listed price, source receipts and assessment status. Connect with your existing HTT account from a compatible MCP client.

The scanner is included with every membership. There is no separate scanner subscription. Free accounts include 5,000 new useful evidence-backed records over the account’s lifetime. Active premium members have no successful-record allowance cap. Technical concurrency, security and merchant access limits still apply.

Read and capture

Capture public HTTPS pages, render JavaScript when requested and extract readable PDF text. Keep the source URL, capture time and evidence hash with the result.

Discover and crawl

Find URLs across product, place and experience categories. Start a bounded crawl, read saved progress and cancel it while retaining completed evidence.

Understand the assessment

Read existing HTT reports with their actual scope and scoring version. New assessments use Standard 2.2.0 draft and its category publication gates. A capture does not automatically award or publish a score.

One Throne Scan · category branches

Evidence first, with the category beside every result

Throne Scan captures the exact product, place or experience. Results show the category, source date, SKU or recorded identity, declarations or ingredients, price, evidence gaps and the assessment status. Missing values remain unknown.

Current default: 2.2.0-draft. Draft packs retain evidence while their reference, calibration, anchors or independent verification remain pending. A captured record is not automatically a published score.

Origin classes are plant, animal, mineral, regenerated, synthetic and unknown. Origin is a recorded fact or stated preference; it does not establish safety, health or overall sustainability. Mixed brands receive separate category results, with ethics and cocoa evidence kept as separate layers.

Each parent product contributes once. Sizes do not add votes. A partial assessment shows assessed and unresolved counts, disclosure rate and a possible range. A headline requires the policy’s coverage and publication checks; unresolved products are not scored as failures. Full means a reconciled census, rather than a crawl that happened to finish.

Included with HTT membership. A success unit is a new useful evidence-backed product, place or experience. Empty captures, failed requests, repeats, retries and enrichment of an existing identity do not consume another success unit. Price alone or a URL without useful evidence does not count as success.

Updated Chrome, Wix, Shopify, website, MIW and cloud clients use the shared scanner policy. Install the current client release to obtain the category interface; it checks subsequent policy updates automatically. Earlier records keep their original dates and versions until a verified reassessment is released.

Fair to members and the businesses being assessed

A success is one new identifiable product/SKU, place or experience with useful, attributable information. Empty results, technical failures, discovery hints, repeated records and updates to an existing record consume no additional success units. Missing information remains a gap; it does not automatically establish a negative attribute. Membership never changes the scoring rules.

Connect Throne Scan

In a compatible MCP client, add this remote server and complete the HTT sign-in and consent flow:

https://holdthethrone.com/scanner-api/mcp

Try “Read the HTT assessment for this brand”, “Capture the ingredients declared on this product page”, or “Discover the public pages for this hotel and keep the source receipts”. The downloadable package uses this same account-bound endpoint. OpenAI public-directory approval is a separate process; this page does not claim an approved directory listing.

For your backend

The same account-bound service exposes JSON operations at /scanner-api/v1/policy, /scanner-api/v1/account, /scanner-api/v1/results, /scanner-api/v1/scrape, /scanner-api/v1/map, /scanner-api/v1/crawl, /scanner-api/v1/crawl-status, /scanner-api/v1/cancel and /scanner-api/v1/lookup. Use OAuth with PKCE and a caller-specific bearer token. Register and discover authorization at /wp-json/htt-scanner/v1/metadata. Do not use the site owner’s token for customers.

Scrape accepts a public HTTPS url and optional render. Crawls accept a page limit from 1 to 50. URL maps accept a result limit from 1 to 1,000. Global and account concurrency limits may defer work without consuming a success unit.

Evidence, privacy and limits

The service associates scan jobs, captured public evidence and successful-record accounting with your HTT account identifier. OAuth tokens are used to verify your account; merchant requests do not receive your HTT token. Captures retain raw-source hashes and timestamps for provenance. Empty PDF pages can require OCR; blocked sites, budget limits and incomplete discovery remain explicit.

The member tool and current Azure backend use the shared versioned category policy. Compatible updated clients revalidate that policy automatically; installing a new client release and marketplace approval are separate steps. Evidence captured by this tool stays private until a separate approved publication step. No unverified draft pack receives a public score. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
