Is regenerative cotton better than organic cotton?
Regenerative organic cotton goes further than standard organic cotton. Organic cotton avoids synthetic chemicals, and regenerative organic cotton adds soil health, water saving and farmer welfare on top. Regenerative organic cotton is the highest tier of cotton farming we recognise, though both organic cotton and regenerative cotton biodegrade the same way once woven.
What is ROC certification?
ROC, or Regenerative Organic Certified, is the strictest certification for regenerative organic cotton. ROC certification requires organic farming plus soil health and fair labour, so ROC cotton is verified on more than chemicals alone. A brand carrying ROC certification has proven its regenerative cotton claim, unlike a brand that only prints the word regenerative on the label.
