Grenada's oldest rum distillery, founded 1785, still making rum by 19th-century methods from estate-grown cane.
Mill driven by the Caribbean's oldest working water wheel, installed 1840 and still turning - water from Lake Antoine powers the crushing. Cane from the estate's own fields, juice boiled in open copper pans, fermented in stone vats. Effectively a zero-electricity single-estate distillery.
