About Not Perfect Linen

Not Perfect Linen makes its garments from linen woven from flax, using OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and EUROPEAN FLAX certified fabric produced entirely in Europe from the fields to the fabric. The flax behind Not Perfect Linen is cultivated without artificial irrigation and is GMO free, and the linen is woven from the longest flax fibres available.

Every Not Perfect Linen piece is made to order by hand in Lithuania, cut, sewn and double washed before shipping by local women artisans who have honoured handcrafting in the Studio since 2014. Threads for this linen are spun by one of the oldest mills the brand trusts and then woven locally close to home to offset transport and reduce the overall footprint, and Not Perfect Linen keeps as much human input in the process as possible rather than relying on programmed machines.

Not Perfect Linen makes all of its linen items to order on a pre-order basis to avoid overproduction and textile waste, allowing the family-run brand to hire more local artisans. The linen fabric sourced by Not Perfect Linen carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and EUROPEAN FLAX certification, both stated on the homepage.
