Community coral restoration programme training FISHERS from Soufriere as coral gardeners, running nurseries of over 3,000 elkhorn and staghorn corals and out-planting bleaching-resilient genotypes onto SMMA reefs. Genuine at-the-source conservation: local fishers PAID to restore the reef they depend on, inside a community-managed marine park, named as a priority action in Saint Lucia's National Adaptation Plan 2018-2028.
