KnowledgeCotton Apparel organises its collections by material, offering organic cotton, linen, wool, denim and corduroy across its Shop by Quality ranges. Organic cotton pieces from KnowledgeCotton Apparel carry OCS 100, which the brand states is only given to products containing 95 to 100% organic fibres, while blended items use OCS. Wool products from KnowledgeCotton Apparel meet the Responsible Wool Standard, and the brand’s Reborn range is made of recycled and reused materials extracted and redesigned to be reborn in a circular system.

The supply chain behind KnowledgeCotton Apparel partners with Chetna Organic, dedicated to empowering small and marginal farmers in India through a Fair Trade Cotton project in rainfed areas. To make that cotton supply chain transparent, KnowledgeCotton Apparel uses the Retraced platform to digitise and trace its supply chains. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, KnowledgeCotton Apparel was founded in 2008 by Mads Mørup, whose father ran a textile business for around 50 years before the company was established.

Beyond its organic cotton and wool certifications, KnowledgeCotton Apparel is a member of the Regenerative Organic Alliance with ROA ID Number #122. KnowledgeCotton Apparel also ships orders in FSC certified paper bags described as curbside recyclable.
