Zone3 makes triathlon wetsuits and swimwear from synthetic and plant-based rubbers rather than natural plant fibre. Its flagship suits use B-Prene, a limestone-based Yamamoto neoprene it describes as biodegradable, while its Yulex range uses plant-based natural rubber from the Hevea tree with a 100% recycled polyester lining, which it says cuts a suit's CO2 by up to 80%. Much of its triwear and swimwear also uses recycled yarns.
