Every Kent garment is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, a plant fibre the brand states is completely plastic-free and synthetic-free, so Kent never uses spandex, polyester, nylon, elastane, acrylic or acetate, and its bio-based elastics come from renewable tree resources.
Kent states it sources its organic cotton from a farm it describes as GOTS and Fairtrade certified where workers are paid above living wages, and each cotton garment is sewn in a Fairtrade and GOTS certified, family-owned apparel factory in India that pays employees 25% above the living wage. The tagless labels on Kent pieces are made in Canada, and the brand ships its organic cotton products in packaging it describes as plant-based, acid free and compostable.

Where is KENT made?+
KENT garments are made from organic Pima (Supima) cotton grown in Peru, then cut and sewn in California at a local family-owned apparel factory (independent reviewers describe the underwear as "ethically made in California"). The Peruvian cotton supply partner sources from local farmers who own their land, reportedly supporting over 160 families across three Peruvian valleys. Tagless labels are stated to be made in Canada. KENT is an independent, founder-owned US company founded in 2020 by husband-and-wife team Stacy Grace (CEO) and Jeff Grace (CMO), headquartered in Los Angeles, California. Is KENT legit and worth it?+
KENT is a real, currently-trading, legitimate business. As of July 2026 its website (wearkent.com) is live and selling women's and men's organic cotton underwear, bras, tees and totes, with active promotions (e.g. "Plastic-Free July"), and its Instagram/Facebook are active. The company reported over $500,000 in 2022 sales, expanded its product range through 2023, and has been independently reviewed as recently as 2025. It is not defunct.
Is KENT fast fashion?+
KENT is a slow-fashion / small-batch sustainable brand, not fast fashion. It sells a tight, essentials-focused range (underwear, bras, basic tees, totes) rather than high-volume seasonal drops, uses single-fiber organic cotton for compostability, and is a small founder-led DTC operation. It is a mid-to-premium priced basics brand (briefs around $20+; multipacks higher), consistent with slow fashion rather than disposable fast fashion.
