Oddobody makes its underwear and loungewear from 100% organic pima cotton fabric with a natural, four-way stretch, though the pieces are not fully synthetic-free because there is nylon elastic in the waistband and leg openings, stitched over with organic pima cotton so that only a minimal amount may show through.
Every Oddobody garment is grown, cut and sewn in Peru, where the brand’s long-staple organic pima cotton is harvested by hand through a fair trade and GOTS-certified Peruvian manufacturer and partner farm, using less water than conventional cotton harvesting.
Beyond its organic cotton, Oddobody dyes its fabric with GOTS-certified, azo-free dyes that are free from pesticides, fragrances, parabens and formaldehyde, and its undies can be composted once the elastic is cut out, individually packaged in compostable glassine with inserts and packaging that are 100% recyclable.
