A not for profit artisan cooperative founded in 1998, representing around 18 active artisans, selling baskets, hats, bags, placemats, coasters and fans.
Everything is made in the islands from locally gathered natural materials: fanner grass collected from the shorelines then cleaned and dried, and palm tops cut, dried and slit into thread width strips. Fair wages to weavers, keeping a disappearing straw work tradition alive. Authentic pieces carry a tag reading Handmade Turks and Caicos Islands.
