Every Wunderwald Productions t-shirt is made from 100% hemp (Cannabis Sativa L), using only the original long hemp fibres rather than cottonised hemp. Wunderwald Productions sources these long fibres from Eastern Europe and processes them through a traditional pulping method without chemicals. Each hemp t-shirt is available undyed in its natural state or in an organic black.

The entire production process, from cultivation and harvesting to the finished hemp t-shirt, takes place in a single location in Romania within the EU, where everyone involved is paid fairly. Wunderwald Productions grows its hemp organically and makes each garment in Europe, then dispatches all orders from Portugal.

The organic black used on the Wunderwald Productions hemp t-shirt is a 100% organic, GOTS certified dye. Although Wunderwald Productions grows its hemp organically, the fibre carries no organic label because certification is too expensive for the farmers. Wunderwald Productions notes that hemp regenerates exhausted soils, is grown without herbicides and pesticides, and requires less water thanks to its long taproot.
