Day 1: South coast and the mangroves
Start in the water, gently.
Conservation Kayak
Paddle the Woburn Bay Marine Protected Area at True Blue. Mangrove and seagrass, explained by people working on it.
Mt Hartman National Park and Dove Sanctuary
Habitat of the Grenada dove, the national bird, found only here and Critically Endangered at roughly 160 mature individuals. We name the sanctuary and publish no site detail, deliberately.
Day 2: Cocoa country
North to St Patrick.
Crayfish Bay Organic Estate
Non Pareil at Victoria, St Mark. A small working organic cocoa estate you can sleep on.
Day 3: Nutmeg and the north coast
The spice that is on the flag.

Day 4: Turtles and the north east
Levera is the wildest corner of the island.

The north east tip: beach, mangrove, pond and the Grenadines lined up offshore. Free.
SPECTO leatherback turtle nesting tours, Levera
Run by the St Patrick's Environmental and Community Tourism Organisation since 2010, with Ocean Spirits doing the science. Red light only, white torches banned, you wait for a spotter rather than walking the beach, and no sighting is guaranteed. That is what a good turtle tour looks like.
Day 5: Cross to Carriacou
Ferry from St George's, or the light aircraft to Lauriston.
Bogles Round House
Bogles, Carriacou. One of the few places confirmed trading after Hurricane Beryl.
High North National Park
Bogles and Belvedere. The high ground of the island, with the Grenadines laid out below.
Day 6: Carriacou, slowly
Beryl hit Carriacou as a category 4 on 1 July 2024 and damaged 98 per cent of its infrastructure. Go, spend locally, and go gently.

Day 7: Back to the mainland, and the falls
Leave time for the interior on the way out.
Clabony Sulphur Hot Spring
Above Mirabeau in St Andrew. A sulphur spring for soaking, not for drinking.
